Friends of Nature, your local source for all things pet related, started in Menomonee Falls in 1991, by lifelong pet owners, Doug & Lynn Wilde.  Over the years, they have expanded numerous times, due to the tremendous loyalty of their customer base, quest to find quality merchandise, and to offer competitive pricing.  The business now operates in three locations, Menomonee Falls, Slinger, and Cedarburg!  The Menomonee Falls store has undergone several expansions, increasing from a 1000-square-foot storefront, to 12,000-square feet presently.

The Slinger store, opened in 2000, also moved to a larger location, and is now adding a large second location right behind its present store.  This new expansion will allow them to warehouse large amounts of feed and other products and, in turn, enable them to supply you with pallet sized, bulk orders at significant savings to you!  Call to arrange for special delivery!

The Cedarburg store, Landmark Feed, Seed and Supply, is housed in the Historic Cedarburg Mill, built in 1855 and on the National Register of Historic Places.  It’s the oldest retail establishment in Cedarburg, having been some sort of feed mill for over 160 years!

The top-selling brand of dog & cat foods Friends of Nature stores carry is Fromm Family Pet Foods, Wisconsin made products, headquartered in Mequon.  Available in several varieties, it’s a great food and its priced right!  Friends of Nature is one of the largest Fromm retailers in Wisconsin!

Carrying a commitment to providing high-quality food to outdoor creatures too, they have a very popular ‘Wild Bird Seed Sale’ each October, a tradition that started with their first Friends of Nature, 24 years ago.  The sale, offering 100 different mixes at the lowest prices of the year, is timed to coincide with the black oil sunflower seed harvest and is held when commodity prices are at their lowest!
